Usage Note 20435: "Could not find class com/sas/solutions/etl/metadata/client/MDLoad" error when running Load Dimension Table

DetailsAboutRate It
If you are using SAS Financial Management, SAS Human Capital Management,
or SAS Strategic Performance management, running the Load Dimension
Table job in the Solutions repository may generate an error:

  ERROR: Could not find class
  com/sas/solutions/etl/metadata/client/MDLoad
  at line xx column xx.
  Please ensure that the CLASSPATH is correct.

This problem occurs if the JREOPTIONS have not been
correctly defined or if the sas.solutions.etl.client.jar exists in your
!sasroot\soltnsdata\sasmisc location.

To determine the cause of the problem:

1. Verify that the sas.solutions.etl.client.jar exists in your
!sasroot\soltnsdata\sasmisc location.

2. Verify that the JREOPTIONS in the SASV9.CFG file are specified
correctly for the specific release. On Windows, this file is in
!SASROOT\nls\en (for an installation in English). On UNIX, the
sasv9.cfg file is in !SASROOT.

3. To determine which JREOPTIONS are specified, add the following code
to the Load Dimension Table job:

  proc options option=JREOPTIONS;
  run;
  proc javainfo;
  run;
  data _null_;
  dcl javaobj
  j("com/sas/solutions/etl/metadata/client/MDLoad");
  j.delete();
  run;

For .2 releases please refer to the SAS Solutions Services 1.2: System
Administration Guide for further information on the JREOPTIONS. For .3
releases please refer to the SAS Solutions Services 1.3: System
Administration Guide for further information on the JREOPTIONS.
